Does masking verify a person's identity?

No. This operation masks an Aadhaar number in an image. Identity verification is a separate process.

Can I upload a PDF?

The current contract lists JPG, JPEG and PNG image uploads. It does not list PDF as an accepted input.

Should the original image be kept?

Set retention and access rules for the original document according to your approved purpose. Masking does not replace those controls.
